Fear destroys our ability to see the truth,
Like a shroud it falls
And lies about everything,
Of any worth,
The burden, fear tells us, is too great to bear,
It speaks of failure,
Through the shadows of the mind,
Where despair hides.
Fearlessly open your mind to the truth,
It speaks of victory,
With light showing the way,
Through misfortune.

Simply stated and very true. I must admit I am guilty of this one line.
