Monochrome

From Colour Contrast Continuity

Drained of colour I flee to find
Sanctuary for a damaged mind,
Drained of courage I run away,
I would be a fool to stay.

From Colour Contrast Continuity

In colour’s absence contrast rules,
In stormy skies and rippling pools,
And a small fragile flower sways
While the simplest music plays.

Soft light wraps a sleeping giant
In lissom airs lithe and pliant,
Captured motion time cannot hold
Lies bound by bitter cold.

From Colour Contrast Continuity

Beauty silently takes the stage,
Dispelling all destructive rage,
Showing every colour in one,
Living a life that light won.

I am in such awe of your photos ~ your choice of monochrome shots is beautiful. Understanding the pain you must deal with on a daily basis, it inspires me all the more.
