Gravity Eludes the Laws We Understand

'Centre of Gravity' From Visual Counterpoint
When I despair of ever writing the words,
Any might ever understand,
I turn to pictures to speak for me.
I feed a child with simple signs,
Hoping the adult has not forgotten how to learn,
By looking at this world with new eyes,
And seeing for the first time,
Beyond the horizon of its’ own existence.

I frequently despair.
I am trapped in a mind that cannot communicate,
Yet I refuse to accept any boundary or limitation,
For my thoughts,
I shall seek a way to live with my beliefs,
And retain my centre of gravity even when I am like a fish,
Out of water.

I love your writing and pictures. Don't despair, Liz - just go with the flow . . .
